Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland Receives $5,000 Donation from the Lahti FAMILY Foundation
DULUTH, MN - The Lahti Family Foundation has made a generous donation of $5,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland.
Michael S. Rosenzweig, Lahti Family Foundation representative presented the check to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland.
The Lahti Family Foundation has been a longtime supporter of our Boys & Girls Clubs programs and services for at-risk youth. Funds from this generous gift will help to support ongoing programming in the five locations served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland: Duluth-Goldberg, Duluth-Lincoln Park, Superior, Grand Rapids and Greenway.
Since 1971, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland (https://bgcnorth.org/) has been in the forefront of youth development in Duluth and the surrounding area. The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs is to empower and inspire all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, productive, responsible citizens. In 2019, the Clubs served over 94,000 healthy meals and snacks, provided over 2,500 hours of tutoring and reached over 8,000 youth through memberships and community outreach programs.
