In early December, Boys & Girls Club members were again invited to participate in this year’s 4th Annual Julebyen Celebration ~ a Norwegian-themed Christmas festival in Knife River, MN.  Our kids were able to earn “Christmas Kroner” (equaling $5) to spend at the Julebyen Celebration.  Club members earned their “Christmas Kroner” by volunteering to clean up Skyline Parkway, at Animal Allies, or at our Clubs.

Special thanks to the adult chaperones from Heritage Marine, snacks provided by Rotary Club of Duluth # 25 and Lake View Memorial, and the “Julebyen Express” train provided at no cost by North Shore Scenic Railroad.  WAY TO GO, COMMUNITY MEMBERS !!  Learn more about Julebyen here:  http://julebyen.us/
