Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland Kicks off 50th Anniversary Celebration with Boys & Girls Clubs Week Activities
DULUTH, MN – 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland. What started back in 1971 in the Minnesota Power & Light Building on West Michigan Street has grown into a safe and reliable resource for youth and families in our region.
Boys & Girls Club Week which takes place June 21 – 25, will kick off the anniversary with special events planned all week long at our local Duluth Clubs.
The 50th Anniversary will run throughout 2021 and culminate in an evening of celebration at our annual fundraising event the Gala for Boys & Girls on October 7 at Greysolon Ballroom.

Lincoln Park Club
Tuesday, June 22 – 5:00 – 7:00 pm
“Whatever It Takes to Mentor Tomorrow’s Leaders”
Career Fair, Free Food, Fun, Games and much more….
This free event is open to the community

Now more than ever, youth and families need the Boys & Girls Clubs to support them during such a pivotal time in history. The Clubs remain committed to doing “Whatever it Takes” to create equity and inclusion for all kids by providing access to a safe space that promotes mental, emotional and physical well-being, academic success and good character and citizenship.
